Ahhh, the joys of summer! Baseball, cookouts, swimming, camping and of course the fine art of  boozing. If boozing is indeed your summer activity of choice, may I suggest you shake things up a bit and draw some inspriration from the above cocktails created by my friend Amelia and her boyfriend Eric. Amelia just finished her first year of grad school at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Eric is a lawyer and the two live in an adorable apartment, on an adorable block in the adorable neighborhood of Park Slope in Brooklyn. With school out for the summer the two toyed with the idea of taking a mixology class, but then decided to forgo the classes and simply teach themselves with a few books and a supremely stocked personal bar. That ocean of booze behind the drink in the last pic is a glimpse of the liquor acquired for their new hobby. These two aren't playing! Looks like all their efforts have paid off because each of the drinks they have made looks amazing and worthy of being on the Mad Men set.
